Guru Purnima Celebration

By : Harish Dubey Email : duha.1234@gmail.com
On the pious occasion of Guru Poornima, Srimad Jagad Guru Ramanujacharya Swami Purshottamacharya Ji Maharaj expressed his ideas to the Bhaktas at Siddhata Ashram. He told Bhaktas, “Maa is first Guru and she should be respected by all purposes. Second, you should also respect your teachers, who guide your way to attain the position and name in the society.” On the holy and auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima, Bhaktas from abroad also participated, and found themselves moved by the preaching of Guruji Maharaj. The occasion was marked by paying oblations at Laxmi Narayana Temple and later at Samadhi of Vaikunth Vasi Swami Sudarshanacharya Ji Maharaj respectively. After the completion of Guru Ji’s Arti, came the moments where Bhajans were recited and Guruji Maharaj offered blessings to Bhaktas. Also on the eve of Guru Poornima, Sanjay Parekh Ji recited Bhajans to enchant and mesmerize the gathering. The search for Sat Guru should be the aim and purpose of everybody’s life. It is similar to the condition, where one cannot see his personal self without seeing himself or herself in the mirror. Guruji Maharaj also cited that doing Yagna and Selfless Service is the only route to reap the fruits of success in one’s life “
